in our School on 13th Sept 2019. Total 360 students from BET School
participated in this event.

The BET English Pentangular was organized in BBVP on 2nd of
May 2019. Our students secured 5 first positions, 4-second positions, and 8
third and consolation positions in the event.

As a recipient member of
UNESCO ASP
net (Associated Schools Project Network),110
students of the school connected with other schools and participated in
'This Is Our Time' a fast-paced,
multilingual and intercultural global communications project. The Time
Project is a global online network of over 300 dedicated and motivated
schools, youth groups and UNESCO clubs having its Headquarters at London,
Ontario, Canada.
ROUND SQUARE CONFERENCES :-
Ø
5 boys along with the Round Square Representatives and the
Principal attended the RSIC 2019 at Emerald Heights International School,
Indore. Around 1100 delegates from all over the world participated in the
conference. The highlights of the conference were the key note speakers Kailash
Satyarthi, Shashi Tharoor, Sophiya the first Humanoid, Swami Gaur Gopal Das,
Col. D.P Singh, the first blade runner of India and Madam Kiran Gandhi the
activist.

06 Students and 01 teacher delegates participated in the "Mody
School, RSC Service Project from July 23, 2019, to July 27, 2019.

Principal and Ms Varsha Ratta attended the Annual General
Meeting of Round Square on 30th Jan 2018 in Nainital.
Ø
Our 6 students participated in Art competition conducted by
Round Square International Conference from 26th to 30th Aug 2019. The Theme
of the event was "Sarvodaya – The World We Wish to See".

organized by Chittagong Grammar School, Bangladesh

painting competition organized by Chittagong Grammar School ,Bangladesh
SPORTS AND GAMES
Our boys have done extremely well in handball, football,
archery, boxing, swimming, skating and yoga and made us proud by enriching
the kitty of school honours. Here are the highlights: -

BPS
U-14 Football
team participated in an invitational
tournament in the Doon School from 27th Aug 2019 to 31st Aug 2019. Total 12
teams participated in the tournament.
BPS won all matches of the pool and
advanced in quarterfinals with the top position of the pool. BPS won
quarterfinal match with Indian Public School, Dehradun. Semifinal match was
played between Doon School and BPS and we lost it with (2 – 1).

Our
U-19 football team
participated in Mayo football
tournament under the captaincy of Pradhuman Singh Shekhawat and Lakshya
Himmatramka which was held at Mayo College, Ajmer, Rajasthan, from 19/08/19
to 23/08/19. The final match of the tournament was played against Mayo
College and
our team won the match and created history by 01- 00 in the final match.
Satyam Singh was awarded The Best defender of the tournament.

Our U-14 football team participated in all India IPSC
football tournament under the captaincy of Master Kurung Bengia IX (VH) and
Preet Rathi IX (VH), which was held at YPS, Mohali, Punjab, from 02/08/19 to
05/08/19.

10 boxers of our school participated in
All India IPSC Boxing
tournament
which was held at Rashtriya Military School, Dholpur from
18.09.2019 to 20.09.2019.
BPS won 4 GOLD, 1 SILVER and 3 BRONZE medals. BPS
secured overall 3rd position in the tournament. Our 4 Boxers have qualified
for SGFI Nationals.

6 students participated in All India IPSC Yoga competition
2019 held at Birla Public School from 16 September to 18 September 2019.
Rudra Pratap Singh- BH secured Gold medal & got selected for SGFI. 4 boys
secured a Silver medal. Ansh Gupta remains on 1st reserve position for SGFI
nationals.

U-17 football team
participated in
all India IPSC football
tournament, held at Sanawar school & Pinegrove School Dharampur, HP. from
01/09/19 to 05/09/19. and the following
4 players were selected for SGFI
nationals: Ruben Saxena, Arjun Dev Aditya, Kania Bengia, Ankit Kumar.

CBSE Archery west Zone Competition
was held at Mayo College, Ajmer from 14th Oct. 2019 to 16th Oct. 2019.
BPS bagged the First position in U 14, U 17 and U 19.
Ø
The Inter-School Volleyball tournament was organised from 4th
Oct. to 8th Oct. 2019 among the three schools of BET- Birla Public School,
Birla Shishu Vihar and Birla School, Pilani. In senior category BPS, BSP and
BSV bagged the 1st 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. In Junior category
BPS, BSV and BSP bagged the 1st 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

The
All India IPSC Volleyball Tournament 2019-20
(Boys, U-14,
& U-19) was hosted by Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur, Hyderabad from
28-30 Sep 2019. A total of fourteen teams participated in the tournament
from all over India.
BPS won the Championship in both the categories. The
following students have been selected for SGFI Nationals :-Manan Verma
(Class XII),Mukul Malik(Class XII)Anshuman Singh Shekhawat (Class XII) &Yash
Janu (Class XII) were selected for SGFI U-19 and Durgesh Kumar (Class
IX),Sumit Singh (Class IX), Rajvardhan (Class IX),Crish Chhapolia (Class
VIII) Priyanshu Singh(Class VIII),Sahil Singh (Class VII)Raj Sudarshan
(Class VIII) were selected for SGFI U-14.
Ø
22 students participated in
Dronning land Cup, Denmark Partille Cup, Sweden Lubeck,
Germany. The headmaster Junior Section
and the Handball coach escorted the team.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Ø
The school celebrated a green Diwali and donated money of the
crackers to CRY
Ø
12 children celebrated their Diwali with the students of AMLA
BIRLA KENDRA the students made diyas and seed bombs with them.
Ø
The student also contributed to IDF.
Tour & Treks
Ø
The
cycle tour team
after exploring the
silk route (680kms)
returned back on 5th April '19. A warm welcome was given to all the
participants of the event by the BET Director and other dignitaries
Ø
42 students along with 4 escort teachers and Principal
visited Russia from 20th May to 29th May 2019 for Excursion.
Ø
Master Prikshit Sood from Middle Section scaled an
unnamed
peak about 16000 feet high in 10 days
with the climbers of USA, CANADA and
SWITZERLAND.
This is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE which is located in Tirthaan Valley of Distt Kullu-(HP). Later the Peak was named as KAYHA
PEAK.
He was the youngest climber of the group.
