The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp and show in the Jr Sec. Playground of the school at. 8.45 am.The programme started with the flag hoisting by the Honourable Principal.Thereafter, she inspected the marching troops of the N.C.C., Scouts and Band.She addressed the gathering by giving them best wishes on the occasion. She also talked about the achievements of our country in today’s context.
Thereafter, the entire troops of NCC of the school along with Band went to the Birla Ground for the mass display.
There the Chief Guest on the occasion was Honourable Director, BET, Maj. Gen.S.S.Nair AVSM.He took the general salute and then inspected all the troops of N.C.C, Band, Scouts Yoga and the riding team.The various teams of students took part in the marching very enthusiastically. There was a joint band display by the students which was appreciated by one and all.Finally, it was the turn of the young riders of all the schools who proved their skill in their show. The Chief Guest gave best wishes to all the people present over there and urged the young generation to move ahead ensuring the progress and the well being of our great motherland.
