On July 11,2023 40 BPS students went to visit CEERI Pilani to attend the workshop on the topic “Celebration of Rastriya Boudhik Sampada Mahotsav”. CEERI Pilani invited students of different schools of pilani under the instruction of Government of India to celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” (AKAM). First of all, a documentary is shown to the students to give a brief introduction of CSIR Pilani (Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute) and to introduce the various research work in the field of agriculture, pharma, social problem (water, Milk, Soil) and social security etc. In the second session, Dr Neeraj (Principal Scientist IP unit) addressed the session. He explain the concept, features and importance of Intellectual Property and their types like Patents, copyrights, Trademark and tagline. Students asked many questions about the patents and copyrights tenure, fees eligibility and ownership. They also took active participation in discussion. Students also visited museum and could see various innovation done by CEERI Pilani. After enjoying refreshments at the ceeri canteen, students came back to school.
