Opening Ceremony of IPSC Volleyball Tournament
The opening ceremony of the All India IPSC Under-19 and Under-17 Volleyball Competition took place on April 27, 2024, at Birla Public School in Pilani. The tournament will run until April 29, 2024. Mr. Anand Singh Rathore, the Head of the Department of Sports at Birla Public School, Pilani, is the convener of the tournament. Mr. Vinod Kumar Saraswat serves as the secretary, and Mr. Sukhpal Tanwar is the coordinator. Dr. Manivannan Kasturi was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Nine renowned IPSC schools are participating, including The Emerald Heights International School, Indore; BRCM Bahal; Delhi Public School, Mathura Road; Welham Boys School, Dehradun; The Mann School, Delhi; Punjab Public School, Nabha; Sainik School, Nagrota, and the host school, Vidya Niketan Birla Public School, Pilani. The chief guest commended the host school for its outstanding academic and sports achievements. The opening ceremony featured a March Past and oath-taking ceremony by the participating schools. School officials, including Bursar Mr. Mahesh Chand Pandey, Headmaster Mr. Sushant Kumar Baral, Headmistress Mrs. Meenakshi Gaud, and Principal Mrs. Kajal Marwaha, were present. Principal Mrs. Kajal Marwaha motivated the participants with her inspiring speech.
