Birla Public School Pilani , 6th April,’24: Birla Public School, Pilani organized a Traditional Ajrak Painting workshop from April 3rd to April 6th, 2024. The workshop was led by the renowned artist Mr. Ranamal Khatri, a National Awardee and Printmaker from Barmer.  Mrs. Ashwini Kedar,the art teacher of the school felicitated Mr Khatri with bouquet of flowers and the school’s Principal, Mrs. Kajal Marwaha, presented mementos to Mr. Khatri and his assistant, Mr. Achala Ram. Twenty-five students participated in this workshop which focused on using natural colors for painting.

The workshop instructors, Mr. Ranamal Khatri explained the significance of Ajrak Painting and taught the students how to create Ajrak Block Print. The workshop aimed to educate students about our cultural heritage and the importance of using eco-friendly materials for block printing.
